A hint of summer and then it goes

There we were Easter weekend, sitting in our new garden enjoying the sunshine. It lasted for another week or so and then bang it went. Since then we have had dull overcast days with a chilly wind and now over the last week we have had the April showers that should have been here a month ago.

There i was in those days of sun, baring my legs for the first time this year without tights and arms with out a cardigan near by in case its just not quite warm enough. Now i have had to dig my tights out and hope that a thin long sleeve top will be enough to stop me from getting cold.

What doesn't help is the shops are full of summer clothes, they suddenly went from stocking winter warmers to summer strapless dresses, flip flops and shorts. What about in between weather clothes which lets face it there is a lot of that weather going on.

Come on summer where are you?
