Another injury for Jonny Wilkinson

Well a new season of Rugby has started and we all believed that Jonny was on the mend, no new injuries for a few months and he even managed to play a few games in a row at the end of last season. But on Friday night it happened again-he went down and didnt get up again i seem to get some serious deja vu when watching Jonny play.

This latest injury does throw up that old question "shouldnt he just give up". Well orgionally i thought no, but now i think yes. Its clear that no matter what he does, he says he has changed his kicking style etc to try and prevent injuries it still happens! so maybe his body just cant take it anymore. All those years of punishement to get him to the top have to me finally caught up with him.

So yes Jonny did do an amzing thing in Sydney and he should not be forgotten for that but maybe he should of hung up his boots after the first bout if injury and went out on that high. All this coming from me is something seeing as i am one of his biggest fans and have been since he first ran onto a rugby pitch in an England shirt.
